Today Electronic Arts announced today that Dead Space, the award-winning sci-fi survival horror game, has gone gold. Here are the shipping dates for all regions and platforms:

In North America the Xbox 360 and PS3 version will ship October 14 with the PC version to follow shortly on October 20. Europe has to wait a little longer for the splatter action: On October 24 Dead Space will also be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on European shores.

Console players who purchase the game within two weeks of the game's release get awarded with a platform-specific Dead Space skin. Xbox 360 fans will be able to download the free Xbox-themed "Elite Suit" whereas PS3 fans will get the "Obsidian Suit."

Only Xbox 360 owners can get their hands on one of the 1000 copies of the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition. This mammoth package, sealed in a limited edition Dead Space packaging, contains:

1. a copy of the game
2. Dead Space Downfall Animated Movie on DVD
3. bonus content DVD
4. 97-page art book
5. 160-page graphic novel (which combines all six issues of the Dead Space comics)
6. exclusive lithograph illustrated and individually signed by Ben Templesmith
7. Ishimura crew patch

Dead Space will be available for $59.99 on the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system and $49.99 for the PC. The Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition will be available on the Xbox 360 for $149.95.
