Oh no, even one more game to look forward to this year. Help!

Let me explain what I'm talking about. It's just that one of the greatest indie freeware games (although it is so much better than many full-priced games nowadays; it really is completely free to play) is going to come to WiiWare, packed with new content and features. The original Cave Story already had a whole lot of content, different endings and it took quite a long time to play through, so it will be really interesting to find out what this new content will consist of, but this is still a big mystery right now. As well as the release date, which is still rather vague. The only timeframe we know of right now is "this holiday season".

Cave Story can best be described as an action adventure, that mixes jump'n run pieces with Metroid-like gameplay. Add a little bit of Rick Dangerous, a high level of difficulty, upgradable weapons and a nice story, and there you have it: a game that has set the indie world aflame since many years now.
