Germany —

Flying Lab is now offering 14-day free trials to new players to their piratical MMO Pirates of the Burning Sea. To participate in this offer no credit card is required, just your e-mail address to get your key into your inbox. Two weeks of free Jolly Roger action--doesn't sound too bad.

I tried BotS when it just came out, and was outright disgusted by the design, and current state of it back then. As I've heard though BotS is quite much more elaborate now, I might even give it another try.

I've never played a real MMMORPG (just one which is for free and everyone in my class palyed - Flyff) and PotBS definitely won't be my first one. Maybe I'll buy Guild Wars 2 when it will come out ...

Flyff was your first...that's just not right. You must think we're all crazy, because we do like MMO's.

I still cannot understands why so much people in my class always talk about travelling in an ugly, boring world.

here is a list of free MMO's, just for reference.

I understand that at a certain age paying a monthly fee just isn't possible, but some of these games are really really good (for a free game).

I personally would say that these games I played are better:
RF Online, Last Chaos or Anarchy Online just to name a few.
And take a look at Cabal Online it's free (you can of course buy items), but I found it to be very close to the experience of full-paid MMO's.

Just my personal recommendation.
