Fable 2: How to Start with 2000 Gold and 15 Exclusive ItemsFable 2: How to Start with 2000 Gold and 15 Exclusive Items

Every MMO does it, now Fable 2 does it, too: When you pre-order the game from September 29 (the release date is October 21), you get three Fable 2 Pub Games (Keystone, Spinnerbox and Fortune's Tower) via Xbox Live Marketplace for free. This is done via a code card you get when ordering. So you obviously can play the mini games before Fable 2 comes out. In these games, you'll be able to unlock up to 15 exclusive items or blueprints for your Fable 2 character. Also, pre-order customers will have 2.000 Gold in their virtual purse from the beginning -- no need to start as a lowly dishwasher. How this will be explained in the game remains to be seen -- we played through the intro / tutorial mission, and it's all about a little POOR girl (or little POOR boy). Not a RICH boy or girl. We have our information about this pre-order offer from Microsoft Germany, but we're quite sure there will be very similar offerings in other countries. In Germany, the retail or mail-order partners are:
What do you think about this offer? Is it immoral? Is it a nice benefit if you planned to buy Fable 2, anyway? Do you know of similar offerings in other countries? Tell us!

I don't preorder games.
I won't order at any other store or whatever, because of this or such things.
I don't even know if I will buy Fable 2 when it comes out. Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 come first. Maybe when it's a budget Titel ...
If I want to play pub games, i will buy it on the marketplace, but I played the Demo and it's not worth it.
I think its boring to start with 2000 Gold. I want to start with nothing in my hands .)
I totally agree. The whole experience is getting worse because you cannot be proud of the things you reached in the game. You had an unfair advantage.
My complaint is: Why only 2000 Gold?! ...
