Mirror's Edge: PC delayed, consoles get demoMirror's Edge: PC delayed, consoles get demo

The consoles are in favor with EA DICE: Mirror's Edge will be shipped as planned on November 11 (Europe: November 13), whereas the PC version "follows later in the winter". At an yet undisclosed date prior to the launch, a demo is going to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. "The demo will feature the prologue of the game including the tutorial and a segment of the single-player story mode," reads the official press announcement by EA DICE. On top of that, players who pre-order Mirror's Edge (from September 26) will get an exclusive code to unlock the Time Trail mode in the demo. This mode is simply about reaching your goal faster than all the other demo players, and you can compete against the ghosts (best times) of your friends. By the way, "Winter" means the time from January 1 to March 31 in Publisher-Speak, so PC users might have to wait for a long time.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
One present less under the christmas tree....
No problem for me - too many good games in Q4 anyway. WoW WotLK, LOTRO Moria, Tomb Raider Underworld, Colonization, ... I look forward to Mirrors Edge. Assassins Creed jump and rum mechanics was nice but the game got extremely boring after 2-3 hours for me so I hope that ME will do a better job in terms of long-term motivation?
I feel exactly like you do about the (too) many good games coming up. To be honest, I'd rather have those Q4 games spread over the other 3 quarters :-)
I wouldn't mind that either, I just don't don't have that kinda time on my hands. I already dropped Sacred2 from my buying list because I wouldn't have time for it anyway.
Then comes Fallout3, and two weeks later, on the same day NFS: Undercover and GTA4...I am in so much trouble...
