The zombie coop-shooter, Left 4 Dead is set for release on November 1 this year. However, Xbox 360 and PC gamers alike may be able to take the game for some test-shooting in co-op and singleplayer demo play. VideoGamer has caught word that Gabe Newell, managing director of Valve, confirmed those plans for a Left 4 Dead demo at Leipzig Games Convention. Which level the demo will feature is still uncertain, though, as Doug Lombardi, Valve's master chief, has the final word here. "It'll probably be Hospital," the demo level that was show-cased to the press already, states Newell. Gabe Newell at Leipzig Games Convention wrote:
We will be releasing demos for both the Xbox and for the PC. I don't know what the date is for release on that, though. I think it's going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns. I think it'll probably be Hospital but I'm not sure. That's a decision that Doug Lombardi is making.
