Funcom's support for their game seems to be a disaster. Does anyone here play the game? I mustn't, I'm too young ;-)
I played it in closed beta, and later for a bit in the open beta and I agree that the support is somewhat lacking. To give just one example from the recent past: One of the
bigadvertised features of Age of Conan was the support for DirectX10, but due to some technical difficulties this was removed in beta and was said to be put in the game after the release. That didn't happen, so they said it should happen during summer, then they announced that they will finally bring the feature back right after the Games Convention.
Well, the GC ended about three weeks ago, but take a guess if AOC is now running under DX10...
I played it until I was level 30, but it felt like work more and more.
I played until 45 or so, and a buddy of mine is at 75 atm, it's not getting better. I hope Warhammer will be better, I'll be able to join the retail servers tomorrow.
