Far Cry 2, the kind of sequel to Far Cry (although it's got nothing in common with its predecessor, except for the name) will come out across Europe on October 24th as was recently announced by Ubisoft. And as with all rather big-budget games, a Collector's Edition with some exclusive extras will also be shipped. Read on for the details.

Far Cry 2 CE will not follow the tin-box trend and is shipped, somehow matching the African setting, in a wooden box. The actual game Far Cry 2 will of course be included and with it comes a Making-Of DVD, a limited edition T-shirt with the Far Cry 2 logo (which looks unusually good for a CE T-shirt), a map of the game world with a scope of 50 square kilometers (the game world, not the map) and a book titled "The Art of Far Cry 2."

The box should already be available for pre-order at most retailers by now and costs 64,95€ for the PC version and 74,95€ for the PS3 and 360 versions.
