While updating financial analysts on the company's upcoming financial expectations, Midway revealed several game delays, and disclosed plans to revisit two familiar franchises.

All PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait until 2008 for Unreal Tournament, while the PC version of the game will still meet its expected November release date. Also, European PlayStation 3 fans will have to wait until 2008 for the release of BlackSite: Area 51. These release date changes, among other issues, caused Midway to lower its revenue expectations for the third quarter and full financial year by around 25%.

Midway delivered a little good news along with the delays. The company also confirmed that it is planning to release new games in the Mortal Kombat and Blitz franchises in 2008.
