Actually, cameras were verboten when Microsoft's Major Nelson demoed the New Xbox Experience at the PAX 08. Someone did record the whole screening though. A bit shaky but in high-rez, the video is still worth watching. It shows the new dashboard in motion and Major Nelson explaining it and everything that's new about it.

Absolutely not. If it's in an English dictionary, then it's an English word. And I'm fairly certain that it can, in fact, be found in a dictionary.
Ok, you're absolutely right, I just checked two different dictionaries and they both list the word, so I guess it's an official loanword then. Thanks for pointing that out.

I wouldn't bet on that. All languages thrive on loan words, and trying to keep foreign influences out is just plain silly, even more so with English, with all those words from French, Latin and whatnot in the vocabulary - not to forget the soundly Germanic core. If you took that away, you'd be hard-pressed to formulate even the simplest of sentences.
Don't mind me, I'm just rambling on aimlessly and have completely forgotten where I was going with this.

Some "leaks" are just sneaky marketing, because people like to talk about stuff they aren't supposed to know, but in this case it was more embarrassing for Microsoft.
I don't think it's a big leak, or any real leak at all (except that it's a video leak of some sort) because there were several screenings (and videos of it) that showed how the new dashboard would look and work like (e.g. E308).
