Joachim Löw on the cover of EA Fifa Manager 09Joachim Löw on the cover of EA Fifa Manager 09
Last updated on September 3, 2008 - 12:06.
Usually the coach of a successful football club gets the honor to be on the cover of EA's Fifa Manager 09. This time it's different: Joachim (Jogi) Löw who's the coach of Germany's national football team will be the new star on the cover of the successful manager game. There's only one problem: The last two coaches (Hans Meyer, Thomas Doll) on the cover of EA's Fifa Manager got fired during the next season, so we hope Löw will still be Germany's coach at World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Fifa Manager 09 will be released on October 30 2008.

Too bad I'm just a reporter who can't adapt a picture ;)
this was tough, there isn't a logo out, no screenshots nothing. And on top of that, I know nothing about football :-)
So I had to photoshop a 2008 logo and pick a picture of a guy I don't know, so tell me if anything is wrong :-)
Wonderful picture ;)
It's hideous, but it's the best I could do in a few minutes, I had to leave.
Gamestar.de has the official cover. http://www.gamestar.de/news/pc/sport/manager/1948667/fussball_manager_09...
That looks only marginally better. ;)
lol
I agree lol.
I hope the new pic is now slightly better.
I just noticed how hard it is to do this when I know nothing about the game or the sport. Is "Fussball Manager" - "Football Manager" and "Fifa Manager" all the same game?
If I read Wikipedia correctly, they may be two different games. Football Manager seems to be published by Sega, and Fußball Manager is identical with Fifa Manager, formerly Total Club Manager. It's as simple as that...
so the topic is wrong and the guy isn't on the cover of football manager?
darn I hate this.
Looks like it... ;)
so I changed it into "Fifa Manager"
Nice revision info, btw. "added pic and typos" - you don't seem to have been very successful with adding those typos. :P
when I saw what I wrote, I knew this would come back to haunt me one day :-)
Sorry for the mistake, I thought the game's name is EA Football Manager. Everything is my fault.
Don't be so hard on yourself, who would have thought that "Fussball Manager" and "Football Manager" aren't the same game...could happen to any of us.
Especially to those of us who haven't played either of the games. :D
I've played the 2006/2006 edition and it was a good game, well, maybe a bit boring from time to time. ;)
