EA's Tiger Woods 08 glitch: "It's a feature!"

EA's Tiger Woods 08 glitch: "It's a feature!"

If we were to do a little association chain about companies in the gaming industry, then most people would surely react to Blizzard with talking about "polished MMO and strategy goodness", when it comes to Gas Powered Games most of you would probably relate it to "this funny guy named Chris Taylor" and when it comes to EA: well, then I would most probably go for the assocation "sequels, lots of sequels". But honestly: Would anyone of you ever relate the letters EA to humour? No? Then this is probably about to change.

Some time ago, a fan of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 published a video that he called "Jesus Shot", featuring a funny glitch in the game that shows Tiger Woods as he is walking on water and finally shooting a ball from the middle of a pond.

By now EA have made their counter-move by releasing a video featuring the real Tiger Woods reenacting this Jesus Shot and thereby stating that the whole thing is actually not a glitch, but rathermore a feature of the game.

Bear that in mind for your next round of association quizzes: EA can be funny.

I really like it, and that goes for the humor in this and for the new EA in general, I think they are making a turn-around right now.

I think so, too. First they announce a patch for Battlefield 2, now this. I hope they keep to this new path.
