Battlefield: Bad Company gets Conquest Mode

Battlefield: Bad Company, the new game in the Battlefield series from Swedish developer EA Dice, has a much stronger focus on singleplayer than its predecessors but is still very much liked for its multiplayer mode. This will now get a free content patch on August 7, which will implement the Conquest mode into the game (already known from Battlefield 1942).

In this mode, your objective is to steal a certain amount of so-called tickets from the enemy, which you can either do by shooting members from the opposing team or (more effectively) by capturing control points and holding them for as long as you can. There will be no new maps included, so the Conquest mode will have to be played on the old maps. Adding a new mode could certainly be a reason for multiplayer fans to join the bad company once more.
