Video-Review: McGee's Grimm Episode 1 (PC)

Grimm 01.jpg
Germany —
American McGee, especially known for his third-person action adventure Alice, which centered around a very dark version of the famous fairy tale Alice in Wonderland and was widely acclaimed by critics, is now (after visiting Scrapland and having a really Bad Day L.A) setting foot into the realm of fairy tales once more with his new episodic project American McGee's Grimm. And it’s just as weird as we would expect from him. The first episode of American McGee's new episodic game Grimm is free to download and play for everybody via Gametap. But this won't be the same with the remaining 23 episodes. You will be able to download and play them for free during the first 24 hours following the release date, but if you don't have time during this timeframe and still would like to play the game, you will then have to pay for it. Which brings up a very important question: Is Grimm worth your money? We teamed up with him to find this out.

I'm not sure I liked the Demo, but I liked the video review! Keep it up.

American McGee is a talented man, but his last game Bad Day L.A. was .... bad. I hope Grimm is better. Anyway, good review.

Thanks to both of you for the plaudits. I hope that I'll find time for another video review soon.

@ Starkiller and Knurrunkulus:
Don't you thinks it's funny we write in English, although all of us are German :D

not really, GamersGlobal is aiming to be an international site, so I try to stick to english. Would be easy to switch sometimes, but it would really turn off any person that couldn't understand it and felt left out.

it does look like fun, but i´m not sure if it will be over 24 episodes... would be nice to know how long one episode takes, but i´m sure not longer than 4-5 hours, right?

Much shorter than that. Even if you really do everything there is to do (collecting secret tokens and the like) one episode should not take you longer than 90 minutes. Yes, it's really that short.
