Germany —

Bethesda has already shown off various trailers of their highly anticipated action-RPG Fallout 3. But thus far, players have never been able to glance at the pure gameplay though. Until now. Full four minutes of in-game Fallout 3 gameplay footage made a screening debut at the Microsoft Press Conference.

The screening showed how refined the game in its current stage of development already is: from the camera (first and third person view), to the controls, to the graphics, and the inclusion of the limb aiming system that the franchise had become so famous for, to the level of brutality, and, finally, to the diverse ways of playing the game. It seems that Bethesda is really nurturing a true AAA-title there in their lap.

The videos are available on Gametrailers:

  1. Off-screen Walkthrough from the E3
  2. Trailer

As well, at the conference it was also announced that the release of Fallout 3 will be followed by "substantial" downloadable content that will be exclusive to Xbox LIVE and Games For Windows.
