Who would have thought that Square Enix would ever turn to Microsoft. But it's true: The E3 revealed that the Final Fantasy franchise will now makes its first debut on the Xbox 360 with Square's newest sequel Final Fantasy XIII. Considering that Square Enix also releases several other blockbuster RPGs on Microsoft's White Wonder (such as Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and Last Remnant), the surprise was surely not too shocking. There is no release date for the Xbox 360 version yet. Square Enix stated that they focus on the Japanese PS3 release first. That makes it doubtful that a simultaneous PS3 and Xbox 360 release for Final Fantasy XIII is in sight. Once being localized for a North-American and European audience, Square Enix can start porting it to the Xbox 360 then.

A Final Fantasy for the 360? Is today opposite day? I can't believe it. Well, good for them. Now bring the title for the PC and I'm happy. I don't want to play it on my GTA4-playing-device (PS3).
BTW Leonard, I really like that you but some effort into your pictures, I don't believe that the pic above and the Portal one are stock pictures, you made those, right?
The logos and all are made by the companies' respective artists :D.
hmm ok, then I was wrong, then you just have a good eye in picking them :-)
