Valve's Orange Box surprised gamers abound with its unique puzzle shooter Portal, a game that refreshed the genre of FPS in many ways. Microsoft confirmed now that Portal: Still Alive, a sequel to the immensely popular Portal, will get exclusively released on Xbox Live Arcade this fall. Portal: Still Alive continues the single-player story from the original Portal, and features new levels and achievements. Being announced as timed-exclusive Xbox 360 title on the E3, Portal: Still Alive might gain Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace an upsurge of popularity. There's no word yet that the title will see a release date for the PC or PS3. But let's read what GLaDOS herself announced at the Microsoft Press Conference (although embarrassingly few journalists seemed to realize the voice that was speaking to them): Hello, we hope you've enjoyed your brief detention in the press event room. The Aperture Science Test Center is pleased to announce the worldwide debut of Portal: Still Alive, a 2008 exclusive for the Xbox 360. Due to the previous tests being solvable, we are currently manufacturing new test chambers for only the most qualified test subjects. Good Luck.

If this is really going to be exclusive for XBLA, then I would be forced to buy a XBox 360. Yes, I would. Just to see the Companion Cube again.
At least this year I fear you will only be able to play it on the Xbox 360.
I really liked Portal, but enough to buy a 360? No. It hate all this exclusive stuff, they are wasting millions to have titles on their platform that others don't have, and limit the numbers of copies the game could sell at the same time, it's stupid.
