Crysis Mod: Getting the Most out of Your PC

Crysis Mod: Getting the Most out of Your PC

Germany —

Back when Crysis was released the game longed for more 3D power than an average (or even high-end) PC could have possibly delivered. Today, the money one has to spend in order to fully enjoy Crysis in all its graphical glory is considerably high. The Crysis Modding Community wasn't lazy though: they have created a mod that allows you to automatically configure Crysis according to the individual specifications of your system.

The Cuban Ultima Doom Sword's CustomCrysisConfig goes much further than just the standard "low-medium-high-very high" settings in Crysis. The guys over at MadShrimps have done some extensive testings with a mid-range PC set-up - with impressive results. The mod does squeeze the most out of your PC for the sake of running Crysis with astonishing graphical settings at much higher FPS. The ease of use is secured by a clear dialog box which will lead you through the set-up process (.NET Framework Version 2.0 required).

Wanna give it a try? Head over to MadShrimps' full coverage of this Crysis mod.

Combining high-end (Crysis) with low-end (Atari/C64 font) has its appeal.
