Wii Ware Europe: Release of "Actionloop Twist"Wii Ware Europe: Release of "Actionloop Twist"

Since yesterday, there is a seventh game available on the recently launched online platform WiiWare for the Nintendo Wii, which basically resembles the online distribution platforms of XBox360 and PS3 but is traditionally still lacking some comfort; you can't download demos or watch videos of the games before you buy them. Considering online distribution, Nintendo still has a lot to learn. But, and that's the upside: The games are mostly good. Especially Lost Winds (by David Braben, the guy that, together with Ian Bell, created Elite) and Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life As A King are definitely worth downloading. The new title Actionloop Twist somehow has a difficult standing against these titles, because it is "just" yet another one of those casual puzzling games flooding the market recently. For 1000 Wii points (which is similar to approximately 10 Euro) you can download what is basically the brand new version of puzzle game ancestor PuzzLoop released back in 1998, this definitely being the game that highly influenced the widely known puzzler Zuma, while also making references to the even more widely known Bust-A-Move. In the game, marbles of different colours are running around a set route and you have to shoot at them with a cannon, before one of those marbles reaches the end of the line, because that would mean "Game Over" for you. When you have matched three identically coloured marbles, they will explode. Sounds easy in theory, but is rathermore difficult in practice. There are combos, of course, as well as special attacks. And the different game modes offer you a wide range of activities. Only the controls, sad to say, seem to be rather suboptimal. Which will not be a surprising news for many wii gamers out there, the control scheme still often being both blessing and curse of the console. Read the review on www.wiiware-world.com, rated with seven out of ten points, if you want to find out more. Having that said, the Wii certainly seems to develop into a good playground for puzzle gamers, with Pokemon Puzzle League (N64) recently released on the Virtual Console and the WiiWare remake/launch title Dr. Mario & Germ Buster. I bought the latter one. I always lose on Level 1. LEVEL 1! Don't laugh at me.

Couldn't find a decent picture anywhere, so I had to build one.
I also didn't find a pic. Yours is excellent, thank you for adding it.
Very good, thanks! Knurrunkulus, could you remove the quotation marks around the game titles? The bold letters do exactly what the quotes are meant for, showing that one ore more words are the title for something rather than several parts of a sentence.
Yes, that makes sense. I changed it.
